Art and Soul * Washington DC part 2




On this visit to Art and Soul - the star of the show was the grilled shrimp with cheese / butter grits. It's a shame this is not on the lunch menu.

Guilty pleasure - The Cracker Barrel * Manassa, VA


Yes, it took 90 minutes to get there...yes there was a 30 minute wait- but when you have great company this is well worth the wait. I have been a number of times and only for breakfast. A+

At the time of this posting I have been 4 times with a few more schedule visits in the near future.
I recommend the staple: meatballs and spaghetti. This trip also added the new entree: rigatoni, broccoli & sausage.

The meatballs are good but the star this trip was the chicken caesar salad. Huge chunks of meat...A+

This place HAS lived up to hype. Great food, great staff, the atmosphere and the service A+
